Katy Abrams for SCOTUS!!!!

I don't know if Katy Abrams makes me cry or laugh so hard that I fart.

I venture that Ms. Abrams does not have even a subpar understanding of American history or politics-- her lack of awareness of the fact that the Gulf War ever ended gives it away-- yet she claims to know that George Washington would not approve of such things as universal healthcare.

Awww, how cute: an average American who can determine original intent! I bet she's on the SCOTUS shortlist for the next Republican administration. Ya heard it here first.

I suppose Katy and I would agree on one thing: our constitution has taken quite a beating. I mean: I don't think good ol' G-Dub would take too kindly to the suspension of the 4th amendment.

Katy is seemingly at peace with all of that, apparently. Torture? Warantless wiretaps? Foreign excursions without congressional authorization? Those glaring violations of the constitution could not awaken "the sleeping giant." No: universal access to affordable and quality healthcare is what really offends Ms. Abrams' sensibilities.

Katy believes that our country has veered from the vision of our founding fathers. Shall we go ahead and repeal everything past the Bill of Rights? Yes, everything would be so much better if only white, land-owning males could vote, and if slaves were counted as 3/5ths of a person.

'Cause that's the kind of America we'd all like to live in, folks!
